Kala Ahloy ’99 is Vice President, Head of Projects at Morgan Stanley Japan. The firm is one of the largest foreign premier financial services firm in the nation.

Born in Hawaii and being Japanese-American, Ahloy studied Japanese language in high school and chose Oxy for its language studies and study abroad options. He studied abroad in Japan for a semester and joined the Japanese cultural club on campus.

After graduating, he participated in the JET Programme as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), after which he pursued a Japan-focused MBA at the University of Hawaii and has been working in Japan ever since.
